Little Feat’s archivist, Chris Cafiero, shot video of The Mighty Manatees entire set.  Enjoy it below if you missed it or want to relive it.

The evening began with the documentary ‘Life Is Fair’ about Jeffrey Allan Jones, who passed away from cancer at the age of twenty. It tells the story of how a group of 20 somethings decided to honor a dear friend taken too soon by creating an award given in his name every year at Phoenixville Area High School. The film title is taken from a quote written in Jeff’s own hand on his bedroom wall as the film attempts to honor his life, death and memory.

At 9 PM one of Jeffrey’s favorite bands took the stage: Montgomery County’s very own The Mighty Manatees. They play in a style all their own known as “dread neck or bottleneck dub” blending country, blues and rock with reggae and cite influences Robert Johnson, Robert Zimmerman, Robert Hunter, Robert Fripp, Robert Plant and Robert Nesta Marley.
